Summary

'Twesetwoterimbere' means ‘all of us together can succeed’, and this is the basic principle of the cooperative’s foundation. Their achievements so far include significantly reducing the distance members travel to the washing station, and providing access to drinking water. They are proud to have gained their members’ trust not only through the transparency of their operations, but also by keeping them informed of changes in the coffee market.

The farmers have plans to build a bridge and a better road to connect two coffee growing communities with the washing station, Masare and Muyebe. They are also distributing coffee seedlings and have a reforestation programme to replace trees chopped down for firewood.
